The ICRC is the world’s most advanced and rapid-response global humanitarian actor. In September 2018, I joined the Organization in order to design, roll-out and scale-up the new global Talent Attraction & Employer Branding strategy. In this role, I lead, develop and coach a team of 10 Talent Attraction Specialists based in 6 different countries (Sao Paolo, Brussels, Geneva, Nairobi, Bangkok & Beijing) and partner with top leaders on global projects and strategies.


Head of Global Talent Attraction & Employer Branding (Centre of Excellence)


  • Pivot a low ROI HR function into a modern Talent Attraction Centre of Excellence delivering 5 services including:

    • Direct Sourcing, Market intelligence, Talent pipelining, Employer branding & Outreach activities

  • Design, plan, sponsor and roll-out strategic/global TA projects including: recruitment process optimisation, corporate career website, D&I, EVP, upskilling and capacity building, etc.

  • Partner with top universities and alumni networks to attract top talent globally

  • Global implementation of HR Tech: SAP HR Marketing module, Textio (AI), Wonderkind (AI), LinkedIn Recruiter & Talent Insights, Glassdoor/Indeed and Social Talent learning platform, etc.

  • Keep up with market trends and innovation to ensure continuous improvement

  • Monitor employer branding perception, Lead the social media strategy and growth (LI)

  • Liaise with vendors and negotiate global contracts - Manage annual budget

HUG - Geneva University Hospitals

HUG is the 1st University Hospital in Switzerland with more than 12k employees and 900 recruitments per year. In July 2016, I joined the institution in order to set up the new cross-functional service responsible for centralized recruitments, HR marketing and induction activities.
Head of Recruitment & HR Marketing

•    Create and lead HUG Recruitment team: build an efficient, metrics, cost control and client oriented service aiming to support 19 internal HR Business Partners within their recruitment activities
•    Responsible for the design and roll-out of a new Talent Acquisition strategy aiming to establish an innovative, best practices and technology based approach across all HR marketing, recruitment, sourcing and induction activities
•    Design, drive and monitor the centralisation of post graduates, nursing and admin. recruitments (200+/p.a)
•    Implementation of new HRIS tools including a new ATS (SmartRecruiters), video interviews (Wepow), predictive psychometric assessments (assessfirst), HR marketing, sourcing, and on boarding tools
•    Act as a HUG ambassador during conferences and healthcare/medical events in order to increase HUG’s visibility
•    Inspire, lead, coach, assess and develop a team of 4 HR professionals

CERN – European Laboratory for Particle Physics

Among all scientific & particle physics laboratories, CERN is the world’s most advanced and recognized. In 2010, I joined the HR Department  in order to set up the Recruitment Unit and actively participate in the design & action plan of the new Recruitment, HR marketing and Sourcing strategy. After five years in this role, I decided to carry on with another internal challenge as HR Business Partner for the Physics Department.

Recruitment, Sourcing & HR Marketing Manager - JUN 2010 to MAR 2015


  • Design, presentation and implementation of the new recruitment, sourcing and HR marketing model

  • Responsible for the entire recruitment life-cycle (from need analysis to hiring)

  • Continuous management of 15 to 25 positions (technical and support functions, entry and senior level)

  • Responsible for the pre-screening process including video interviews, technical tests and behavioural questionnaires

  • Design, preparation and participation to tailor-made "assessment centres" including panel interviews, CBIs, personality questionnaires and role-play situations

  • Trainer for the internal recruiting course

  • Preliminary analysis and pilots, project manager and implementation of personality questionnaires (Insights, Emergenetics, SHL, TalentQ) in alignment with the CERN’s Competency Model

  • Management of the Sourcing and HR Marketing budget (CHF 160k)

  • Project lead for the development of CERN Jobs smartphone app.
